Breaking Dawn

After unreasonably sacrificing lots of my supposedly-for-academic-stuff hours, straining my eyes due to excessive reading and even had them inflamming… at last, I’ve caught up with the final book of the Twilight series. Breaking Dawn. yay!

Good thing after a few days my eyes are slowly returning to it’s normal state. I thought I would have to bear one reddish eye for eternity. I don’t like scaring people off unintentionally. XD

October is nearing, so is my graduation. Me and my friends are now taking care of our academic deficiencies. I’m not looking forward to it, I cringe at the thought of the new life I had to face in the near future. You know, having to work and conceding a new set of responsibilities. The only thing I think I would enjoy is the thought of earning my own money. lol. Nevetheless I still want to graduate, not to mention that my graduation is being endangered by a seemingly huge problem with my professor in one of my not-so-important subjects. :(

If only I wouldn’t be apprehended if I push her down the long stairs, and if only she couldn’t affect my graduating status, I would have limped that narrow-minded, egotistic professor. So that she would just stay home and would never again, impose on other students an unwished-for fate like ours. Sorry for being mean. But believe me, she’s way more evil. She gives so many reading assignments and expects you to read it overnight. She’s smug and acts as if her subject is the most important on every student’s curriculum. She always interjects her achievements in every discussion, as if no single person ever cared to listen about her boring life. We’ve been earning her ire for not being hyperactive in her class. And now she’s downright mad at us for being not able to read a book because someone already borrowed it out of the library. Geesh. Stupid, narrow-minded hag. She’s giving me and my groupmates a failing grade for that day. Who knows, she might fail us for the entire course (she can get very unreasonable). And when she does, I would really wish for her soul to rot in hell.

Sorry for the rant. It’s like I haven’t been this pissed for a long time. That’s all for now. Have a great weekend everyone!

Twilight = Sore Eyes

I am frightened everytime I meet my own gaze in the mirror. I feel like I’ve become vampire-like for overdosing myself with reading the Twilight series extensively. Only difference is that, my eyes are not coal black, but bloodshot.

I’ve started reading Twilight a week ago, I’m currently halfway through Eclipse, the 3rd book. And undoubtedly I’d be in Breaking Dawn, the last installment, before the week is over. I have numerous significant plans laid out for the weekend and I admit that I tried to unreasonably fit everything into my already hectic schedule.

I exhaust myself, strain my eyes, way too much. And now, Twilight series inflicted me with sore eyes. I get too absorbed when reading that I unconsciously forget to blink.

My eyes, really, are horrible. I’ve read that sore eyes last for two weeks. I don’t like missing classes, it makes me feel uncomfortable for not being updated with school. I’m debating with myself, whether to become unwillingly evil by attending school and spreading this viral infection, or just stay at home and rest. But I doubt the latter. Being tenacious, I would probably continue my daily routine and worsen the inflammation.

That’s all for now. I shall now return to my own little world, in Forks. lol.

New Moon

So much has happened on my long week. Here’s a recap:

Monday was a National Holiday, so me and my since-high-school friends went out to have fun. We had videoke, played arcade games and dined in different restaurants. We were supposed to watch a movie but we ran out of time. Though we are already in our twenties and some of us are already working, we rekindle some of our youthfulness everytime we gather. I am really childish and it’s nice being carefree whenever I’m with them. At my age, I’m so entangled with responsible people and serious stuff and I’m so happy to have spent a day at least without worrying about anything.

Tuesday was another holiday for us. We were permitted to spend an overnight in our lab in school to do our group project. But the night for project turned into a pajama party! We all ended up satiating our own desires, I ended up reading New Moon and having naught for sleep. The lab is like my second home, but it couldn’t offer much comfort for me to manage to sleep.

TWILIGHT stuff ahead. You may opt to read it or not, if you can hardly relate.

I just finished New Moon last night, sad to say, it drained all of my excitement for the next book Eclipse, though I know Eclipse is a fave book for most of the Twilight fans and it could be mine, too. The enthusiasm I got from reading Twilight was soon offset by my disappointment for New Moon. All I cared about was Edward’s return to the limelight but the story lingered too much on the werewolf stories. Also, the author keeps on repeating and mentioning inconsequential details that makes the story dragging. It’s as if, I could summarize the whole book in a half sheet of paper. Nevertheless, I love Edward Cullen more. I’m still debating with myself whether to read or not to read Eclipse as soon as I can. I hope that the books wouldn’t get boring as the story progresses. I wish that Eclipse and Breaking Dawn would prove me wrong. XD

Regarding the characters, aside from Edward Cullen, I’m also liking Alice, and Emmett, too. :D And Carlisle, of course. :) About Bella, I don’t like her nor do I hate her. It’s just, I’m disturbed with her attitude. :s

By the way, I was surprised to find out after reading New Moon that My Chemical Romance was one of Stephenie Meyer’s inspiration in the Twilight series. I’m glad that two of my interests intertwine and coincide with others, especially the author. yay! XD

About the upcoming movie, among the actors I know and available out there, I think Robert Pattinson (played Cedric Diggory in HP) fits best for the Edward Cullen role, though my imagination of Edward’s physical features are waaaay more godlike. XD I’m not so sure, I have yet to see his acting all throughout the movie. I’m so exciiiiiited!

Whew! I’ve never blabbed this much in one blow. Hope this entry didn’t scare you away. XD

So many things to do, so little time. Exams, projects, charm orders and birthdays are heaped this August. I’ll manage to update again as soon as next week, I guess. Ja! ;)
