I used to wonder where Manny Pacquiao, having won so many world-level boxing fights, keep all his wealth. I mean, it wouldn’t be wise to keep all those millions in just one bank. I once heard from someone I know that one should store only up to a hundred thousand peso on every bank, since it’s the highest amount a bank can return to their clients in case the bank goes through some sort of financial crisis or problem in the future. But even if Pacquiao followed this idea, I don’t suppose all the local banks here are enough to hold all his assets.
And then I came across this site dealing with gold which is an answer to the question. They urge people to preserve their wealth and add growth to it by investing in gold coins. Why haven’t I figured this out all by myself? A gold coin is indeed compact and small but costs more than a thousand US dollars per piece. I also start to wonder how much more a bullion would cost. Oh boy, you don’t know how much I want to get my hands even on just one gold bullion right now.
So, as for other ways to preserve wealth through time… that I have yet to find out.
